Overview
When a user needs to change Call Ctrl to connect and manage another phone there are a couple things which need to happen. Call Ctrl must be configured to connect to this new phone and the approprate license must be installed. This must be performed in this order to be successful.
Instructions
- Start the Settings Wizard by selecting Edit/Settings Wizard from the main menu.

Complete the Settings Wizard and use the new phone's address on the Spa Phone Settings page.
NOTE: It is important to NOT shutdown or restart Call Ctrl during this process when asked after completing the Settings Wizard. You will restart Call Ctrl AFTER you have done the next step, installing the license for the new phone.

Remove the installed license and install a new license key or load a license that was registered to the new phone. From the main menu select Edit/Licensing. Depending if you have a Saved License or a License Key perform one of the following:
License Key
Enter the License Key string in the License Key text box and click install. The license will be authenticated and installed. It is recommended you Save the license for future use and safe keeping.
Saved License
Click the Load License button and browse to the location of the saved license.

The SPA Serial Number should match the serial number of the new phone to which is being connected.

Click Close and Yes to restart Call Ctrl.

Restart the old phone. If the phone was not restarted it will still report back to Call Ctrl which will conflict with the new phone.
After starting Call Ctrl the new phone will be properly connected and licensed.
Considerations
If Call Ctrl still recieves updates from the old phone, the old phone must be restarted to clear the subscription. By default these are recycled every hour so there is the possibilty of having multiple phone reporting back to a single Call Ctrl installation. By a simple restart of the phone will resolve this issue.
If the following message is returned when installing the new licnese, the saved license being installed doesn't match to the serial number of the phone which Call Ctrl is currently configured. This is why it is imperative to first configure Call Ctrl to connect to the new phone and then install the proper license. Doing this before ensures that license matches the currently configured phone.
Call Ctrl 1.0 - Single Phone License - Invalid License
The license is not valid for this SPA Phone. This could be because you have changed the SPA Phone since installing the license.

You may need to install a new license using the original License Key provided to you when you purchased the product.
